I was not surprised that the Chinese cloners started cloning the Trimax meters.  They know a good thing when they see one and they will try to take some of the market by making fakes that look like the real thing.  The clones look similar to the Trimax sm-3500 but that’s all.  The problem with clones is that although they look like the real thing they do not function the same.  Half the time you can’t read their menus or manuals due in part to the poor English translation.  The Trimax sm-3500 is the trusted brand by the professional installers community.
