 Taking control of your television is my main theme for this article.  I have not found very many programs on cable or satellite subscription services that are worth sitting down with the family to watch, without being offended in the first 5 minutes of the program. Have you?  I used to watch TV for more than 6 hours per week and could tolerate it, but with the vulgarity and violence escalating, I can’t bare to watch it anymore.
